Over the course of his 25 years in traditional Chinese medicine practice and clinical teaching, Dr. Yin has accumulated extensive experience in the treatment of internal medicine conditions, orthopedic diseases, neck, shoulder, back, and leg pain, as well as dermatological conditions using acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Chinese therapy massage.

Pain Management

Acupuncture is widely recognised for its effectiveness in managing pain, particularly chronic pain conditions.

Evidence: A 2018 meta-analysis published in the Journal of Pain found acupuncture to be effective for chronic pain, including back pain, osteoarthritis, and migraines.

Conditions:

Chronic low back pain
Osteoarthritis (especially knee osteoarthritis)
Migraines and tension-type headaches
Neck pain
Postoperative pain

Herbal Medicine: Certain herbs, such as turmeric (curcumin) and willow bark, have anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties.

Evidence: Studies have shown that turmeric can reduce pain and inflammation in arthritis patients.
